However, the marriage of a telescope known primarily for its portability to a mount that’s designed for carrying much larger and bulkier instruments results in a package that’s rather expensive and unnecessary, despite having little in the way of actual faults. The Advanced VX is a sturdy and well-made mount (though less-than-ideal for deep-sky imaging), while the C6 XLT is an optically superb and portable telescope.
